Welp. This is getting out of hand.

Bryson DeChambeau isn’t planning on straying from his game at the US Open. He plans on hitting driver, a lot, as far as he can. Now I don’t know how this is going to work out for Bryson, as the rough around Winged Foot is sitting at 4 inches, and THICK. He has struggled finding fairways recently, so this doesn’t seem like the best thing to do.

He also brought up something else. After the US Open, he will start testing a 48 inch driver shaft. This is the maximum length allowed on TOUR, and would increase his distance instantly.

“We’ll see how far I can go”, he said.    Bryson being Bryson I guess.

I grew up in southern New Hampshire, where I first fell in love with the game of golf. I started by just going out and messing around with my buddies and focusing purely on having a good time! I never took golf seriously until I moved down to Tampa, FL to attend the University of South Florida. Go Bulls! At the start of my junior year I got a job working as a cart boy at a local private country club. This is when I started to focus on golf becoming my career. During the fall of my senior year, I turned from a 14 handicap, to a 2. I passed the PAT scoring test my first try and haven't looked back.
