Just For Fun
Mike from The Golf Podcast Just Sank a $15,000 Putt

Yes, you read that headline correctly, Mike, one of the hosts of the Golficity weekly golf podcast, had his dream of playing in a Pro-Am come true after sinking the pressure putt of a lifetime.
The whole thing went down last week at a media event in NYC hosted by 18Birdies app. The setup was simple…play a three-hole scramble on the simulator with the winning teams moving on to a sudden-death putt-off.
Mike and I worked our way through the scramble at +1 which tied us for the lead with another team of Pro-Am hopefuls. We then drew straws for the putting competition and we were off with a shot at an all expense paid trip to play in next year’s Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill.
With knees knocking and adrenaline pumping we each took a shot at the 15 foot putt. The first two contestants missed left and long and mine lipped out. Seeing the putt was a little quick Mike shaved off some speed and drained it to take home the big prize.
So what could be better than winning a trip to play at Arnie’s place? How about having Paige Spiranac hand over the big prize!

Needless to say it was a day that won’t soon be forgotten.
Be sure to subscribe to the Golficity YouTube channel because we’ll be vlogging the entire trip to Bay Hill next March.
