There are always a few players that like to make a splash with some unique pieces of equipment at some tournaments. Wesley Bryan has decided to make his unique mark at the Phoenix Open.

Bryan made headlines last year when he won his first career PGA TOUR event at the RBC Heritage. The win wasn’t necessarily what got him the headlines, however, it was more about his celebration that included him making a trip to Taco Bell for a meal of champions. Because of that visit, Taco Bell actually decided to sponsor Bryan, and he is proving to be a wise investment.

Heading into the Phoenix Open, Bryan is set to use a special golf ball that has the Taco Bell logo on it. The ball also includes the help of another of Bryan’s sponsors, Callaway, who combined their ball technology with the Taco Bell logo. Interestingly enough, the ball will also be a Truvis ball, which hasn’t been used to this point in a PGA TOUR event.

And Bryan won’t be the only one that will have the opportunity to use this special golf ball. Bryan will be giving some away on the 16th hole to lucky fans. If you won’t be in attendance, however, you also have a chance to get some through Twitter, as Bryan is running a contest to send some out. But I’m sure that he will be keeping most for himself to match his Taco Bell belt buckle.

While we’re more likely to see the unique logos placed on golfers’ clothing, this wouldn’t be the first time that a player used an unique golf ball. If you remember, Bubba Watson used some different colored golf balls throughout the entire 2016-2017 season. The coloring didn’t help his game in any aspect but it was certainly a creative way to spice up his game.

Bryan, however, is going to be getting a little bit more spicy with the Taco Bell logo. It remains to be seen if the power of his favorite restaurant will help power him to victory but we’ll certainly be on the lookout for these balls at the Phoenix Open.
