2016’s Hottest Ladies on the LPGA Tour

These are my picks for the Top 15 Girls on the American tour.  They have playing ability AND beauty – as well as a unique feminine vibe, both on and off the course.  Here are the results, below in alphabetical order:

CHELLA CHOI

 
This South Korean beauty finally broke through, getting her first win in 2015.  She ranked 20th on the money list – but broke her promise to free up Dad, who continues on her bag.  Please put me down for caddie duties, once he gets his freedom…I’m tired of being on the wrong side of the ropes.

PAULA CREAMER

Once again “America’s Sweetheart,” that incredible 75 foot triple-breaking putt, and her performance at Solheim got her back on our radar.  And since her marriage, she seems to have that distinctive “glow.”  Once again, she’s a threat to win on the course, as well as in our hearts.

JAYE MARIE GREEN

This young starlet keeps flirting more and more with the leader board.  She has a sneaky-good game, a sneaky-sharp figure, and that throaty voice that makes us remember the “it” girls of the golden screen.  Her birdie count is way up there…once she cuts down on the silly bogeys, she’ll certainly climb on the money list…and WE will partake of her.

This tall, athletic South Korean beauty may be streaky good on the Tour, but she delivers that look and grace at every event, week in and week out.  When she surprises us with that occasional smile she goes from shy and reserved, to radiant.

CRISTIE KERR

She’s reached the “wily veteran” stage of her career, but Christie Kerr still gets our attention at every event.  If you’re not on board…simply dig out a picture of this beauty, from her rookie season.  Impressed now?  She is so much more than just the Solheim Cup star, and the CME Group Champion.

AI MIYAZATO

Once ranked the #1 player on the LPGA tour, she’s now slowly edging her way back to the top – and is only a hot putter away, beginning the 2016 season.  In the meantime, we’ll settle for that shy and beautiful smile, and those eye-catching knee socks…what a wholesome, sexy vibe!

BELEN MOZO

This cute little imp is the spiritual leader of the Spanish team, winners at the inaugural International Crown.  As she edges her way up the standings on the Tour, we’ll bide our time watching her Golf Channel commercials, and her “social shots”…once she dons that bikini – it’s GAME ON, kids!

AZAHARA MUNOZ

“Affa” chose to break millions of American hearts recently, with the announcement of her marriage, but she will always have a sentimental spot in our hearts – just watch her interview immediately after she discovered that playing partner/good friend Morgan Pressel had been assessed that penalty for slow play.  She’s got game, but more important – she’s got HEART.

Her improving game is only topped by her subtle yet colorful outfits on the Tour.  Hee Young Park is the epitome of Far Eastern grace and beauty.  No matter what her score, she carries herself with class – and “we” are the real winners.

GERINA PILLER

That winning putt at the Solheim may be the breakthrough that Gerina and her fans have been waiting for.  She hits it a mile, can beat her pro golfer husband, and is “guilty” of sending heart rates soaring every time the camera flashes to her.  We’ll be rooting for her to be on the leader board in every Golf Channel telecast in 2016.

MORGAN PRESSEL

Marriage agrees with this child star, who has finally gotten control of her feisty nature, and slowly evolved into “Miami Nice” – but we can tell there’s still a fire burning inside her (to match ours).

BEATRIZ RECARI

How did Beatriz Recari celebrate her early success on the Tour?  By completely changing her swing, and going south on the money list…we’re hoping she’ll bounce back in 2016, but for now we will just wait, anticipate, oogle, and fantasize.

SO YEON RYU

This former U.S. Open champion continues to be a world class figure on the circuit.  So Yeon Ryu has an engaging demeanor, no matter where she stands in each event…and THE most sparkling eyes on the Tour –  and possibly in the world.  You need only make a LPGA tour stop, to confirm this.

LEXI THOMPSON

Only “5th” on the 2015 money list, she’s still bidding to become 1st in our Hearts.  In making the transition from teenage girl to young woman, Lexi is showing us the inevitable results of maturing every time she wears an evening dress…and WHO can forget that magazine cover shot?

MICHELLE WIE

She’s a world class player and U.S. Open champion, and a reason to watch the LPGA every week on TV.  Seeing her at a Tour event, it’s not necessarily her facial beauty that overwhelms – it’s that striking frame, with those broad shoulders and those “6-foot” legs!  Michelle Wie may be impressive now, but one can only fantasize about her look at… say, about 30.
