RORY: “Even From the Hospital Bed [Tiger] is Still Giving me Some Heat
Right now any news that makes it seem like Tiger is feeling a bit back to his normal self is encouraging. So hearing that Woods is still chirping at the boys on Tour even while restricted to a hospital bed is exactly what we all need.
“Everyone coming out in red and black on Sunday a couple weeks ago was just a very small way to show that we are thinking about him and hopefully we see him back out here again soon.”

In a virtual appearance on Fallon Tonight Rory discussed the recent show of support with so many players wearing the classic Tiger red and black combo on Sunday at the WGC-Workday.

McIlory went on to say that Tiger had been texting him “words of encouragement” leading into the final round at Bay Hill.
Rory ultimately fell short of an API win, and according to McIlroy, Tiger was the first to text him asking, “what’s going on here.”
As far as I’m concerned, this is further proof that on or off the course, Tiger brings everyone on the PGA TOUR up a level, as they step it up to match his intensity.
