Brooks Koepka Points Finger at Bryson, Blames Him For Starting the Feud
While the fued between Brooks and Bryson hasn’t gotten as much attention of late, Koepka appeared on SportsCenter on Tuesday to clear the air.
“There’s been a few ‘I can’t believe you did that,’ and ‘I’m glad you did.’ It’s been fun, I’ve gotten a good response from a bunch of the guys on TOUR, from everybody from the TOUR. It’s been something I think everybody’s enjoyed, definitely changing up the game a little bit.”
And that wasn’t all. On Wednesday for his pre-tournament interview, Koepka also chose to do a little finger pointing, making it clear that he felt Bryson was the instigator. (Now is a good time to read our story about the history between the two, if you haven’t already).
According to Koepka, it was DeChambeau “going back on his word” that set the whole thing in motion.
“And when we had that conversation, we agreed on something and he went back on it. So, if you’re gonna go back on your word, I don’t have much respect for that.”
It’s unclear exactly what this agreement was or what its basis was, but Koepka made it apparent that he’s not a fan of anyone who doesn’t follow through with a promise.
I guess we await a response from Team DeChambeau?
