TRENDING: Netflix Offering Inside Look Through PGA TOUR Docu-series
If there’s anything “good” to take out of all the recent drama surrounding (see also: involving) Bryson DeChambeau, it’s that fans love the drama and seeing the more human, emotional side of PGA TOUR golfers who’ve otherwise been neutered by their media handlers.
And it looks like Netflix is looking to provide the public with an even deeper, inside look on the PGA TOUR drama.

Modeled off the Formula 1: Drive to Survive Netflix docuseries that has helped skyrocket F1 viewership from 547,000 in 2018 to about 928,000 so far in 2021, the PGA Tour and Netflix are teaming up to develop an episodic documentary-style series that will provide behind-the-scenes access to some of the best golfers in the game throughout the 2021-22 season.
There is no release date yet, but the rumor mill says that the featured cast will include major champions, Ryder Cuppers other players inside the Top 20 in the current World Ranking.

All I know is that I can’t wait for the unnamed series to feature hot takes from golfers during “special moments” like this!
