PGA TOUR and Netflix Announce Partnership that Includes New Docuseries
It was announced today that Netflix is set to team up with the PGA TOUR to produce a new episodic documentary, focused on giving fans a never-before-seen all access look at TOUR life.
BREAKING: The PGA Tour has struck a deal with Netflix to produce a docuseries on the upcoming season similar to F1: Drive to Survive.
The cast is still being finalized, but “several of the Tour’s top players” have already agreed to participate.

Filming is set to begin at the start of the 2021-2022 season, and the cast is still being finalized, though it has been revealed that many high profile players have agreed to participate in the docuseries.
While many details remain unclear, it is known that the production will be modeled after the highly successful “Drive to Survive” Formula 1 docuseries.
The content partnership with Netflix has helped turn F1 into one of the fastest-growing sports in the US.

Neither Netflix or the TOUR has offered any more information regarding the rollout and release date.
This seems like a match made in heaven, the drama of the PGA TOUR paired with Netflix’s top notch production.
