BREAKING: 2022 TaylorMade STEALTH Driver Photo Leaks
The end of the calendar year signals the calm before the storm. The Hawaii loop features beautiful landscape while most of us are locked up in doors, but perhaps more interesting is all the new 2022 equipment making its debut on the PGA TOUR.
Luckily, it doesn’t appear that we’ll have to wait that long to get some sneak peaks of what TaylorMade will be offering this coming year:

A lot of guys in their 30s may quickly remember the old Easton Stealth baseball bat, and that thing was a third-basemen’s worst nightmare.
Given that TaylorMade is a perennial leader in the metal woods categories, especially drivers, it can be expected that the STEALTH driver will have plenty of firepower.
As far as what we can see, it appears that the STEALTH is very heavily influenced by the original SIM driver, as an adjustable, 10g weight—positioned near the face, right behind the Speed Pocket—has returned, along with the Inertia Generator and rear-positioned weight.
Furthermore, it appears that STEALTH may not have a carbon sole, which was featured in both the SIM and SIM2 drivers.

Turning to the face, it appears that this is where the real advancement is going to occur. A 60X Carbon Twist Face appears to be the next progression to the SIM2’s face that was milled on the inside.
It is unclear from these pictures if Speed Injection will remain, as the SIM2 relocated the injection port to the toe-side of the driver head (which is not visible in these pictures).
Regardless, it’s safe to assume that the new 60X Carbon Twist Face will promote off-center ball speed, increased forgiveness, better gearing effect, etc.
Fortunately, we shouldn’t have to wait too much longer to get the confirmed details from TaylorMade.
