EQUIPMENT: Callaway Announce New Rogue ST Max Hybrids
Callaway Golf announced their all new Rogue ST Max Hybrids that will be hitting retailers for $279.99 on February 18th.
Callaway is claiming that these new hybrids are the longest and most forgiving hybrids they have ever made.

Callaway gave the Rogue ST hybrids a full-length 455 stainless steel cup face to increase ball speed and performance across the club face. Instead of being a flat piece of metal welded to the body, the face extends over and onto the top, bottom, and toe of the club to broaden the sweet spot. They also designed each face differently based on its loft using AI.
The Jailbreak system used in the Rogue ST Max hybrids has been modified from previous models. Callaway added a pair of metal pieces like window frames in the heel and toe areas instead of using bars. This makes the clubs even easier to hit. Callaway has also added an internal tungsten weight in the toe of each hybrid to help offset the weight in the hosel and also allow for lower CG, higher launch, and softer landing.
Callaway states:
“The Rogue ST MAX is our longest Rogue ST hybrid model, built with slightly stronger lofts to fit an extensive range of golfers looking for speed, forgiveness, and all-around hybrid performance. Rogue ST MAX OS is our oversized head shape with increased forgiveness, and a draw bias. The OS model features our widest loft offering extending from a 3 hybrid to an 8 hybrid. The Rogue ST Pro is geared to the better player. It features a fairway wood/compact shaping, shallow face, and neutral CG for the most workability in the Rogue ST line.”
Hybrids have been becoming more and more popular in recent years as fitters are starting to convince us stubborn golfers that they in fact are much better for our game. Which model will you be trying out?
