The face of each iron was created by Callaway’s artificial intelligence to ensure that optimal performance or each club. The combination of 450 stainless steel and AI-designed faces should create more ball speed even on miss hits.

Callaway has also added internal tungsten weighting to each iron head in the toe area of each club to counteract the weight of the hosel, keep the ideal hitting area in the center, and drive center of gravity down and back. The amount of tungsten varies by club but can be up to 62 grams.

In order to improve sound and feel, Callaway added urethane microspheres inside the head of each club. These microspheres do not restrict the face from flexing, so while the sound and feel are improved, no ball speed is sacrificed.

Callaway claims that the Rogue ST MAX irons are their longest irons ever.

They say, “Rogue ST MAX Irons have refined game-improvement shaping and the strongest lofts in the Rogue ST family. They fit a wide range of golfers who want incredible speed, forgiveness, and all-around iron performance.”

Callaway claims that the Rogue ST MAX OS and OS Lite irons are their fastest irons ever. They say, “Rogue ST MAX OS Irons provide a refined game-improvement shaping, with high launch, wide soles, and enhanced offset.

They’re specifically designed for mid-to-high handicap golfers looking to get the most out of their irons.”
