You’ve gotten all the boring stuff taken care of. You powered up your SkyTrak and created your profile but you want to start hitting balls. But how do you get your launch monitor to work for you?

When using an iPad it’s really easy and only takes about a minute once you learn the steps.

Step 1- Log Into The App

The way I like to do this by first logging into my SkyTrak app. I’ve found that the connection works better if the app is already open.

I’ve had some issues with the login information not going through when I connect to the SkyTrak’s WiFi first.

Step 2- Find The WiFi Signal

Now that the app is opened and displaying the Home Screen you will need to get the SkyTrak to connect to your iPad.  Don’t close out of your SkyTrak app, just minimize it. Navigate to the settings screen on your iPad and look for WiFi.

Expand the available networks and look for the one that says SkyTrak. Select that network and wait for your iPad to indicate it’s connected to it. This only takes a few seconds.

Step 3 – Go Back Into the App

Go back into the SkyTrak app that you already have open. You will notice the launch monitor icon on the bottom will Move from a yellow discovery icon to a green connected icon.

Once this turns green you are fully connected and reedy to use any of the available SkyTrak features you have on your account.

The entire process takes less than a minute to complete.

Once you get the hang of it, you’ll be on the fast track to better shots and more importantly, better scores.

Ed started playing golf when he was 18. It started out as a hobby and something he liked to do but by 2014 it had turned into a full blown obsession. Since then Ed has committed himself to improving and learning more about the game. He doesn’t work in the golf industry, he’s not a teaching pro, he’s a guy who just loves the game and enjoys sharing his thoughts with others who share the same passion.
