Dustin Johnson Tied The Course Record On Monday At TPC Sawgrass

Dustin Johnson shot a 63 on Monday during the final round at THE PLAYERS tying the course record at the Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass.

Johnson holed out for eagle on the par 5 9th hole to secure his tie of the record.

Although holding a course record is an amazing achievement DJ wasn’t too impressed, he had his eyes on the main prize all week.

“Yeah, it’s always good when you can tie a course record or shoot a course record. I would have liked to have — to be in contention and having done that would be a lot better,” said Johnson.

Just classic DJ here. No matter what happens out there on the course it doesn’t matter unless he is in contention to win.

DJ has nothing to worry about though, I’m sure he’ll be back in the winners circle in the near future.
