What a weekend it was for Rory, but he is not done yet after winning the FedEx Cup. He is in pursuit of winning his 4th Race to Dubai. He is currently in lead due to his solid form this season while being trailed by Zalatoris, Fitzpatrick, and Hovland, who are within striking distance of Rory.

Zalatoris, unfortunately, won’t be able to challenge Rory due to two herniated discs in his back, who will likely be sitting out for more than a month, already bowing out of the president’s cup.

Teeing it Up at Historic Wentworth

Rory will be teeing it up again next week at the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth.

The tournament has a rich history starting in 1955 while being hosted at Wentworth since 1984. Winners have ranged from legends like Faldo, Seve, and Palmer to more recent winners like Rory, Luke Donald, Tyrell Hatton, and Billy Horschel (last year’s winner).

Rory’s win came in 2014, and is looking to tack on another one. Only Colin Montgomerie, Nick Faldo, Bernhard Langer, and Peter Alliss have the most wins, with three each which would bring Rory to a very exclusive class in this tournament’s history.

This will be a solid field with the likes of Rahm, Rory, Lowry, Fitzpatrick, Hovland, Fleetwood, and much more. Golf fans are excited, as this great tournament is already sold out other than on Wednesday and Thursday.
