Adam Scott has become the next International player to join the tech start-up simulator league, TGL. With the two big names leading the charge in Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods, Scott is the fifth player to join the ranks, alongside Justin Thomas and Jon Rahm.

Scott’s reasoning was logical and passionate, when he stated that Tiger had not committed to much ‘side-taking’ during his glittering career, so when he goes in on something, you know its worth fighting for.

“Certainly when Tiger goes in on something, it’s going to have an impact no matter what.”

Scott’s pro PGA Tour stance has become apparent over the last 12 months, and he has likely been inspired by Tiger throughout his own career, now both on and off the course. The former Masters champion has also joined the 16 person Player Advisory Committee (PAC) for the 2023 season.

Collin Morikawa has also signed onto the prestigious TGL guest list. The two-time major champion brings more youth and elite golf to the startup – his iron play will be a joy to watch on a course or a simulator. So Scott and Morikawa have joined the ranks, and according to TGL, a dozen more PGA Tour players are already signed on. There will be 18 players, with six teams of three to kick off the TGL.

“To be on the PAC and sit there and talk a big game is one thing…this will help me be a voice of reason on these committees going forward.”

The TGL is set to launch in winter 2024, a simulator based experience that has certainly taken off in the last few years. The simulator turns golf into a console-type game for the younger generation – one they are much more familiar with.
