Masters Memorabilia is being resold on Facebook for some crazy money as people are aiming to get their hands on some of the best item shop goodies from Augusta National.

The Masters Tournament is the hottest event of the year for many, and the patrons who make their way to what most consider the Mecca of golf will spend ridiculous amounts of money on merch.

It was reported last week that Augusta National would do about $70 million in merch sales for the week, $10 million a day, $1 million an hour, and $16,000 a minute. People file into what is a large facility, packed like sardines, all to grab polos, towels, and anything else they can afford to buy.

Many of them are hoping to grab things in more sizes than they can name, all to resell on Facebook for a monumental profit, at least in some instances.

If you head to any of Facebook’s more prominent golf trader groups, you are sure to find some interesting pricing options on some things like polos, the notorious Masters Gnome, or even things like the Amen Corner Wallet.

Of course, Facebook is not the only place you will find, let’s call them “inflated” prices on Masters merch. eBay, Amazon, and even some retailers will have you coughing up $300 for a single Peter Millar polo, nearly $100 for a shirt with past champions listed on the back, and nearly $300 for the aforementioned Amen Corner wallet. You’d be lucky to have any cash to put back in there in current economic conditions.

The thing is, even at these prices, they are a tough commodity to come across. I even offered to buy several hats for prices as high as $70 on these groups, but they were gone in a matter of minutes, showing that people are more than willing to supply because there is plenty of demand.

We’d love to hear from some of the Masters resellers, or if you paid an astronomical amount for something that you have no shame in talking about, let us know!
