What a week for PGA Pro Michael Block. In one short week, he’s gone from a club pro charging $125 a lesson to becoming golf’s media darling. He made his way into the PGA Championship, and his personality instantly started to shine.

But it wasn’t just his personality that was shining this weekend. The PGA Pro can play with the big boys and even recorded an ace in a major championship!

With a personality and play to back it up, it’s not even a surprise that he has shown up all over golf social media. If you don’t believe me, just go check out the PGA’s Instagram account. They are definitely supporting their guy.

With his charismatic persona, he should be doing commercials. It’s not like he’s a stranger to the camera because this old ad he did for his club popped up, and it’s majestic, to say the least.

Block has moved up in the tax bracket as well with his performance this week.

He won over $280,000 dollars this week. It would take a lot of lessons to equal this payday.

Block has also earned himself an exemption into next week’s Charles Schwab Challenge, not to mention the countless endorsements that will be coming his way.

We witnessed something special this week. A thing that even Disney couldn’t dream up. Like the movie “The Rookie” where Dennis Quaid plays the role of a small-town baseball coach who makes his big Leauge dreams come true, Michael Block is destined to have a movie made about him one day. You just can’t make up a week like this. That’s what makes sports, the game of golf, so great.

Ed started playing golf when he was 18. It started out as a hobby and something he liked to do but by 2014 it had turned into a full blown obsession. Since then Ed has committed himself to improving and learning more about the game. He doesn’t work in the golf industry, he’s not a teaching pro, he’s a guy who just loves the game and enjoys sharing his thoughts with others who share the same passion.
