Michael Block received an outrageous offer for his 7-iron that helped him ace the 151-yard Par 3-15th hole at Oak Hill Country Club on Sunday.

Block, who was paired with Rory McIlroy on Sunday, took a flighted 7-iron to the perfect 151-yard distance as the ball literally dunked into the hole and gave him an ace in what was a fairytale of a weekend.

Block did not even realize the ball went in, and when McIlroy hugged him on the 15th tee box, he wasn’t sure why. He then realized the ball had gone into the hole.

Block revealed that he already received a $50,000 offer for the legendary 7-iron: a TaylorMade Tour Preferred MC.

However, the PGA of America’s new HQ in Frisco, Texas, is also in the running to receive the club, but it seems Block might be leaning toward the money.

Block said:

“For $50k, I’ll hand deliver it. All I know is that thing isn’t going to be too far out of my eyesight anymore. I don’t think I made $50k per year until 10 years ago.”

While TaylorMade has several highly-touted irons in its lineup that are used by the biggest names in professional golf, Block has stuck with his Tour Preferred MC and an Odyssey White Hot 2-Ball putter that is 20 years old.

According to Golf.com, he said:

“…once I kind of have something that I know what it’s going to do, especially under pressure, it stays.”

Block received several offers to subsequent Tour events with exemptions, and he will be playing the Charles Schwab Challenge this weekend at Colonial in Fort Worth, Texas. He’ll tee off at 2:28 PM.
