TaylorMade launched a new lineup of putters this morning with the TP Reserve, planting its flag in the world of premium milled putters.

With dominant names like PING and Scotty Cameron, milled putters are quality choices for those who play the game in any capacity. TaylorMade has had a successful line of putters for years in its Spider design, but the OEM has decided to enter the milled game.

TaylorMade will offer three classic blade shapes and three refined mallet heads in the TP Reserve. They will all be comprised of soft 303 stainless steel, machined-in grooves to reduce surface area, which will help impact feel softer and provide a crisp sound.

The fine linear mill marks are machined in at a specific depth to achieve optimal sound, regardless of impact location. This is due to the design of the grooves, which are machined in the same linear fashion from top to bottom.

TaylorMade will also offer four neck styles: L-Neck, Small Slant, Single Bend, and Flow Neck. These will complement the six head styles:

B11 & B13: Shaping to Fit the Calculated Putting Mind

Featuring the exact 8mm topline compared to the 9mm topline of the TP Juno cast putter it was inspired by, the B11 and B13 feature “clean geometric shaping with precise edges and sharp lines.”

“B11 features a reinvented L-neck hosel where machining allowed for a shorter hosel bucket and increased radii on the edges. B13 has a small slant hosel with 57° of toe hang, the most of any putter in the TP Reserve line.”

B29: Shaped for the Purpose of Putting

Fit with the flow neck hosel and machined bumpers for softer edges, the B29 model produces exceptional feel and a consistent roll. It was inspired by the TP Soto.

B31: Reinventing a TaylorMade Classic

The B31 is the only blade to feature a sole plate to dial in sound, which was an emphasis for TaylorMade when designing this lineup of putters. It features the L-neck hosel and is 110mm, creating “a distinctive look with more stability.”

M21 & M27: Tour-Proven Wing Design

Featuring the widely popular wing design, this head delivers high MOI performance. It has soft edges for more confidence but also features the technical precision of a mallet putter.

Equipped with a new mid-length single bend, the offset is reduced, and minimal toe hang promotes easier setup and repetitive alignment.

M33 & M37: Appealing to the Golfer’s Inner Creativity

This rounded putter head is the only TP Reserve mallet to feature a sightline on top. It has a 1mm thicket top line than the M21 and M27 models.

M47: Inspiring the Putting Purist

A blend of a blade and mallet, the M47 features the widest top line of the three TP Reserve mallets, coupled with gradient thickness in the cavity and a “perfected radius.”

TaylorMade TP Reserve putters will come to retail locations today and start at $399.99. All are available in right and left-handed options and will be available in 33″, 34″, and 35″ lengths, featuring KBS 12 Chrome stepless shafts and Black Lamkin Deep Etched Pistol grips for an optimized feel.
