Rose Zhang has burst into the women’s game, hitting the ground running. She broke all kinds of records in college. She won her first professional event at age 20, becoming the first to do so since 1951. There were reports that her coach said she did it with her B game. She came T8 at the recent Women’s PGA Championship at Baltusrol.

This time around, Zhang has social media in a spin after posting a video of her approach to the famous 7th hole at Pebble Beach – but it’s not the shot itself we’re talking about. Check it out.

In a moment of sorcery, Zhang nips the ball off the tee, rotates through the shot, and her tee springs up perfectly into her back pocket. The ball then settled about six feet from the hole.

Turns out, Zhang set the women’s scoring record at nine under par at Pebble Beach back in 2022. She maybe knows things we don’t…
