Tiger is Back: Woods to Tee it up at the Hero World
Tiger Woods has committed to play in the Hero World Challenge on November 30th.
Tiger will tee it up a month before his 48th birthday – exercising host exemptions for the event. A simultaneous update occurs in the form of a withdrawal from Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele. Lucas Glover and Justin Rose have swiftly taken their place in the roster.
As we declare that the comeback is officially on, this is the first time Woods has teed it up since he withdrew from the Masters, subsequently undergoing subtalar fusion surgery.

He has been seen in recent weeks carrying the bag for his son, Charlie, who was successful at the state championship representing his high school golf side. He was also spotted hitting drivers in the last couple of days, before heading on down to the Bahamas for the Hero World.
The field will contain eight of the top ten players in the world, with Viktor Hovland heading down as the defending champion and arguably best player in golf right now. The viewing figures will likely soar now that Tiger is in the field, making his first start since April.
