Flushing It Golf, the social media account and podcast run by an ex-pro golfer, is 100% all-in on the scoop that Jon Rahm will be joining LIV Golf, and the account provided an update early Tuesday.

The report on X said that Rahm’s defection from the PGA Tour to LIV Golf will be announced sometime “in the coming days.” Last week, the account posted that news will be coming down this week.

Some additional details were given, including that Rahm will have a 25% stake in a LIV team that he will captain. No other changes to the 54-hole, no-cut format are expected. In a report from late November, the word was that Rahm was looking for some changes to be made in the league’s format.

The LIV Golf Updates account is reporting some additional details in Rahm’s supposed deal.

The team aspect of the deal will be interesting to follow. The Fireballs GC team is captained by fellow Spaniard Sergio Garcia, along with members Eugenio Chacarra, Abraham Ancer, and Carlos Ortiz.

If Rahm captains a new team, he would either have to take over an existing team or LIV would have to add a 13th team, which would also expand their 48-golfer fields to 52.
