Cameron Young, Paul Tesori Split as Caddie Moves To Brendon Todd
Cameron Young and Caddie Paul Tesori have officially split, and he will now be on the bag for Brendan Todd.
Earlier this year, it was confirmed that Tesori, who was a longtime caddie and friend of Webb Simpson, were splitting in an attempt to revamp the veterans career.
Tesori would move on to Cameron Young, who, like Simpson, was a graduate of Wake Forest and a member of the golf team at the university. We reported on it when it happened in March.
Caddie Paul Tesori Splits with Webb Simpson and Joins up with Cam Young
The pair labeled it "an incredibly difficult decision," but it seems that Tesori's newest gig lasted just nine months as he will now move on from Young.
Tesori confirmed to GolfWeek that he and Young were splitting up, and that he would now carry the bag for Brendan Todd. Rumors suggest that Young had initiated the move to part ways. Todd's former caddie, David Clark, moved to LIV Golf to work with Ian Poulter.
Young is now without a caddie for the time being, and there is no word of who could potentially carry the bag of the up-and-comer on the PGA Tour into 2024. Young is set to play at the PGA Tour Tournament of Champions in Kapalua, Hawaii, on January 4, so it seems we will have our answer within the next week or so.
