TaylorMade Launches Qi10 Fairways and Hybrids Featuring Best-in-Class Forgiveness
TaylorMade has officially launched the Qi10 lineup, and its name tag for the 2024 series is synonymous with one word: forgiveness.
In golf clubs, most people look for speed and distance. However, many players, even higher handicaps, take for granted the forgiveness that certain clubs may offer. Of course, it is a great feeling smacking a 3 iron down the middle of the fairway 250 yards, gloating to your buddies how you outdrove them with an iron, and feeling a few minutes of an adrenaline rush because of it.
But in reality, this is a rare occurrence.
Forgiveness, not distance, it what lowers scores. TaylorMade is looking to solidify that narrative with its new Qi10 lineup, which includes Drivers, Woods, and Hybrids.
TaylorMade Launches Qi10 Driver Lineup: Speed, Length, and Forgiveness
Launching for pre-order today, the Qi10 Fairway Wood and Hybrid family features a "uniquely optimized face design focused around maximizing ball speed across the face for each individual loft." This will help with distance, but the real technological breakthrough and highlight of the Qi10 family is the properly maximized COR area, which helps bring solid contact to where golfers are "most likely to impact the ball."
The idea was to shift more weight to lower portions of the clubhead, which helped maintain a high inertia rating. Another advantage is a slightly enlarged face profile, which not only helps ball speed but also confidence as players address the golf ball.
Blending forgiveness with distance is what will make amateur players better at golf, make their rounds more enjoyable, and lower their handicaps. It was a project that TaylorMade has refined for a few years now through the Stealth lineup, which ultimately has culminated in the creation of the Qi10 family.
Tomo Bystedt, Senior Director of Production Creation for TaylorMade, commented on the Qi10's development:
“One thing that golfers may not know is that the steel model of TaylorMade fairway woods is among the most played on Tour year after year. With the added performance of Qi10 delivered by the Infinity Carbon Crown and repositioned internal mass pads, we are confident that trend will continue. This is a very clean overall design that delivers the vibrant sound and powerful distance that TaylorMade fairway woods are accustomed to achieving.”
The Woods come in three configurations, the Qi10, Qi10 Max, and Qi10 Tour, all offering their own distinct advantages:
Qi10 Fairway
This is the most widely used version on Tour and among amateurs, TaylorMade said. Distance and Forgiveness highlight the strengths of this entry-level configuration, while the precise CG location help with high launch and low spin, maximizing distance.

V Steel technology also improves turf interaction and club versatility, making it an ideal club for any lie or situation you will find yourself in on the course.
Priced at $349.99, players will have the option of a 15° 3-wood, 16.5° 3-wood, 18° 5-wood, 21° 7-wood and a 24° 9-wood. All are available in both Right and Left-Handed options, except for the 9-wood, which is only available to right-handed golfers.
Qi10 Max
The Qi10 Max is one step up from the entry-level configuration, and offers forgiveness and playability.

A shallower profile and extreme MOI helps get the ball off the ground and improves forgiveness. It has a larger front-to-back shape, which increases inertia, thus helping deliver increased stability at impact.
A 200cc head volume gives a confidence-inspiring appearance. Internal mass pads help with forgiveness, and moving the weight to the extreme low back of the Qi10 Max's clubhead helps make this the easiest fairway to hit out of the entire lineup.
Priced at $349.99, the Max Fairways are available in a 16° 3-wood and a 19° 5-wood, as well as a 22° 7-wood. Right and Left-handedness available in all lofts.
Qi10 Tour
A titanium head, sliding weights, and a 2° loft sleeve help the Qi10 Tour Fairway be the most versatile and customizable in the entire lineup. Need help with higher launch and stability? Shift the weight back. Center it for more all around performance or, if you are playing links golf, move it forward for low-spin and low ball flight.

Available in a 15° 3-wood and an 18° 5-wood, the Tour Fairway is priced at $449.99. Right and Left-handedness available in all lofts.
Qi10 Rescues
The Qi10 Rescue family has an all-new Carbon Crown in the Qi10 and Qi10 Max Models. This feature enables optimal weight distribution by freeing up mass, which also improves forgiveness. All three heads feature a different shape with the Qi10 Max being oversized, while the Qi10 is a "classic" design, and the Qi10 Tour is the most compact.

The Qi10 has a low CG to create versatility and extremely long distance and high launch without the added effort. This model, along with the Max, have V Steel technology as well, which helps with turf interaction and makes the club suitable for more conditions and lies.

Meanwhile, the Qi10 Tour has a deeper forged C300 face with a higher toe. This provides a look that Tour Players want, while also offering distance, workability, control, and a turf interaction that is similar to irons. This model also has heel-toe weighting, which promotes forgiveness with a more compact appearance.
All three club heads equip Thru-Slot Speed Pockets, which has been a notable feature on TaylorMade clubs. This helps optimize speed on low face hits, while the signature Twist Face helps correct and overcome golfer tendencies on mis-hits, helping produce straighter shots on even sub-optimal ball striking.

All hybrid are priced at $299.99.
The Qi10 will come in 3-19°, 4-22°, 5-25°, 6-29° and 7-33° lofts, while the Qi10 Max will come with 3-20°, 4-23°, 5-27°, 6-31°, and 7-35°. The latter two options are only available for right-handers.
Meanwhile the Qi10 Tour is offered in 2-17°, 3-19.5°, and 4-22°. The latter two are available in both handedness options.
