One of the more heartwarming organizations in the golf world is Youth on Course, which helps young golfers play the game without being turned away by potential financial barriers.

The organization just announced that it has successfully helped youth golfers play 3 million rounds in an incredible accomplishment that took just 18 years to achieve.

Adam Heieck, CEO of Youth on Course, commented on this amazing achievement:

“Our core mission is driving increased access to golf by ensuring that the price of a round isn’t a barrier to the life-changing opportunities this great game provides. This milestone is about young people having access to play and it represents countless stories we hear from families about the positive change Youth on Course is making within their kids and their households. Three million rounds played by our members is a significant step towards making golf an inclusive and transformative opportunity for future generations.”

Youth on Course is not confined to the United States, either. In fact, it gives golfers the opportunity to play at more than 2,000 courses in the U.S., Canada, and Australia, and has over 200,000 members.

It does not eliminate payment altogether, but rounds cost just $5 or less.

The three millionth round of golf played as a part of Youth on Course was played by Cruz Amador of Whittier, California, at Don Knabe Golf Center in Norwalk, California.
