Sergio Garcia threw a temper tantrum over a warning he received during a qualifier for The Open Championship as he attempts to make his way into the field for the final Major of the year.

Garcia’s group was given an official warning for slow play during the front nine of the qualifier, but he argued that it was the fans causing the issue as players had to wait several moments for them to make way for them to hit their tee shots.

Bunkered‘s Ben Parsons is on site at Lancashire Links where the qualifier is being played, and caught Garcia having an outrage with R&A Officials where he screamed at them:

“You’re right, we’re always wrong!”

Parsons said there are “a few hundred” fans watching Garcia as he plays his round, which will hopefully put him in the field at Royal Troon in a few weekends.

Garcia’s next appearance will be at LIV Valderrama, where he will play in his home country of Spain.
