Keegan Bradley Named Ryder Captain for Team USA in 2025
Keegan Bradley has officially been named the Team Captain for the Americans for next year’s Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black.
PGA of America President John Lindert made the announcement official earlier today after rumors surrounding Bradley being the choice for the U.S. swirled today.
Bradley is a two-time member of the Ryder Cup team as a player, being a part of it in 2012 at Medinah and then again in 2014 at Gleneagles in Scotland. He finished with a 4-3-0 record, being 2-1-0 in foursomes and 2-0-0 in four-ball.
“Keegan’s past Ryder Cup experience, strong relationships and unwavering passion for this event will prove invaluable as he guides the U.S. Team over the next year and a half.”https://t.co/B7JHv6XbPN

Bradley was snubbed by Captain Zach Johnson during last year’s Ryder Cup, a move that many fans disagreed with. While hypothetical, the decision to go with other players may have cost the U.S. in terms of competitiveness, as the Europeans simply walked away from them last year in Rome.
Honored by the opportunity, Bradley is looking forward to what is to come, and realizes what the Ryder Cup means to both Americans and Europeans:
“My passion and appreciation for golf’s greatest team event have never been stronger. The Ryder Cup is unlike any other competition in our sport, and this edition will undoubtedly be particularly special given the rich history and enthusiastic spectators at this iconic course. I look forward to beginning preparations for 2025.”
Bradley was likely the second option behind Tiger Woods, who chose not to accept the position due to time limitations as he works to negotiate the PGA TOUR’s potential merger with the Saudi PIF.
