What are the changes? Specifically, the Studio Carbon Steel face insert (SCS), new milling patterns, and new head shapes are truly the big differences that Cameron brought to this year’s lineup:
“The new Studio Style putters offer the most significant re-design of our blade line in years. While the name is a throwback, the technology, design and manufacturing methods are modern and brand new. Designed to produce remarkable feel and consistent performance, the new Studio Carbon Steel insert ensures softer sound for a confident roll on every putt. The chain-link face milling contributes to a new level of feel with roll performance that will give players more confidence standing over any putt. We also completely re-designed the mid-mallets with new high-contrast alignment and stability to give both blade and mallet players new high performance options. We are very excited for players to experience the feel of the new Studio Style putters.”
New Studio Carbon Steel (SCS) Face Insert
The 2025 Studio Style lineup features a softer SCS face insert, which was selected from numerous metals to optimize both sound and feel. These were the big focuses of this new lineup.
There is also a new electroless nickel plating process that has been implemented for this new lineup, which helps everything from durability to avoiding corrosion, something that is common among carbon steel putters.

It also helps with feel, keeping things soft.
Some TOUR pros have already completed player testing. Jordan Spieth is the only player that Titleist and Cameron mention in the press release.
New Chain-Link Face Milling Technology
Where Scotty Cameron discovered feel and sound could be manipulated is with new milling patterns on the putter face, so the company switched up the design this year to a chain-link.

This design was chosen after months of testing at the Scotty Cameron Putter Studio, as well as on TOUR, as players helped find out what face milling design helped with ideal roll characteristics, sound, and speed.
New Mid-Mallet Designs
Scotty Cameron is also offering two new mid-mallet designs with the Fastback and Squareback. They have both been completely re-designed from the ground up and feature things like a perimeter-weighted design that helps with forgiveness and stability.
These are crafted using 303 stainless steel and 6061 aircraft aluminum and also feature new high-contrast multi-material alignment systems that help with accuracy.
Something for Leftys, Too
Leftys will be able to choose from the Newport 2, Newport 2.5 Plus, Fastback 1.5, and Catalina.
Finish and Graphics
Cameron went ahead and made a move to universally cover all 2025 Studio Style stainless steel putter heads in a stain mist process for “near-permanent, radiant, yet glare resistant, appearance and texture.”

It features classic looks like the three-dot theme in cherry red translucent paint and the 7 Point Crown engraved on the face.
There are additional engravings and sight lines available.
Availability and Price
All Titleist-authorized golf shops will have the new Scotty Cameron Studio Style putters available on March 14 and they were be available for $499. Long Design putters will cost $549.
