Titleist is launching a new Vokey Wedge that you might need for your game, as it combines the performance and profile of one of the most popular wedges on TOUR with a stronger loft that gaps their wedges properly.

Titleist’s lowest-lofted Vokey is currently the 46-degree F grind. Many players might prefer a 44-degree wedge and the F grind, so they could have their club bent.

However, this could increase offset and decrease the bounce, making the look and performance of the wedge less than desirable.

Vokey is pushing the limits by creating a new 44-degree F grind. While most TOUR players have chosen the 46-degree for their bags, a 44-degree seems more ideal for amateur players.

It still features the 10 degrees of bounce on the F grind, but it offers more choice for amateurs to game a Vokey pitching wedge in the correct loft gapping.

Aaron Dill, Vokey’s TOUR Rep, said:

“The Vokey 46 has been such a valuable club for so many, Tour players and amateurs alike. It offers the profile the Vokey wedge player loves, the bounce and grind that creates the right launch and spin, and consistency in carry numbers. With the lofts getting stronger in iron sets, we needed a lower-lofted head to avoid the sacrifices that came from strengthening a 46.

The 44F was a much-needed option for our players globally, as it helps achieve the right yardage with the correct look, feel and performance.”

The new 44-degree pitching wedge is going to be available in both Tour Chrome and Raw finishes with 10 degrees of bounce. It comes stock with a True Temper Dynamic Gold S200 shaft and a Titleist Universal 360 grip. It is available now for $225.
