Keegan Bradley is set to choose himself for the U.S. Ryder Cup Team, making him the first Player-Captain since Arnold Palmer in 1963.

There was skepticism about whether Bradley would choose himself, as dividing the responsibilities between player and captain would be incredibly difficult.
However, Keegan Bradley has played incredible golf this year, capturing a win, and making the TOUR Championship. He even flirted with the lead at East Lake this past weekend.
Several big names were in the running for the Ryder Cup team this year, including Collin Morikawa, Justin Thomas, Patrick Cantlay, Sam Burns, Brian Harman, Chris Gotterup, and even Patrick Reed.
However, Bradley has played spectacular golf this year and is more than deserving of a spot, and even as the captain, his decision to choose himself seems to be supported by many fans.
There have been rumors of Bradley passing off some of the responsibilities as a captain to others to focus on his play during the Ryder Cup, but this is unconfirmed as of now.
