SkyTrak Debuts Its Newest and Greatest: the ST Max
With indoor golf season quickly approaching, it seems that SKYTRAK has perfectly timed its next release: the ST MAX.
At first glance, it appears that the MAX is a ST Plus with a brand new, matte black paint job. And while that’s not wrong, it’s also not the full story.
The MAX is, indeed, a Plus with a handful of upgrades that promise a more enhanced user experience. Specifically, the MAX benefits from a slightly faster processor that SKYTRAK claims will reduce the already very brief delay between shots. Additionally, the MAX features dual USB-C ports on the rear, which now allows for simultaneous charging and data transfer (so a low battery no longer kills your practice or virtual rounds).

The Dual USB-C Ports Now Mean a Low Battery Won’t Stop Your Practice or Simulated Rounds. Instead, Charge and Transfer Data at the Same Time
The third noteworthy enhancement is the new Speed Training feature. Given the popularization of speed training devices and training, GOLFTEC has developed a new training module specific to speed training for the MAX, which will guide users through drills.
While the MAX isn’t a complete upgrade over the SkyTrak Plus (which was released in 2023), it offers a handful of meaningful upgrades that provide an improved experience along with some new features.
The MAX is currently available for presale right now from SKYTRAK and select authorized retailers—like the Indoor Golf Shop (which loves to offer discounts on simulator bundles, including up to $550 OFF)—and will retail just under $3,000.
