Bill Murray and Brothers to Open Caddyshack Themed Restaurant
Cinderella story. Outta nowhere. A former greenskeeper, now, about to…open a restaurant?
Look out Rosemont, Illinois, here comes Carl Spackler.

According to the Daily Herald, Bill Murray, along with his brothers, Andy, Ed, Brian, Joel, and John, will be opening a Caddyshack-themed bar and restaurant in the Chicago suburb. No official date has been set for its opening.
The Murrays already have a restaurant called Murray Bros. Caddyshack at the World Golf Villae in St. Augustine, Florida.
It all makes perfect sense. Bill, starred in the greatest golf movie of all time (come at me, Happy Gilmore fan-boys!), as greenskeeper Carl Spackler, his brother, Andy, is a chef, and Brian Doyle-Murray wrote the Caddyshack script based on all six brothers’ experience caddying at Indian Hill Club in Winnetka, IL.
I do have a menu question or two…
Will there be gopher on the menu? What about the gopher’s allies, the harmless squirrel and friendly rabbit?

If I’m unsure of my order, let’s say I want a hamburger. No, cheeseburger. I want a hot dog. I want a milkshake. I want potato salad…
Will the server tell me “You’ll get nothing, and like it!”
If the food takes to long to come, am I allowed to say “Let’s go! While we’re young!”
Will the steaks still have marks from where the jockey was hitting it?
Will Baby Ruth’s be on the dessert menu?
And finally, will the “Judge Smails Combo” come with a hat and free bowl of soup?
