TaylorMade SLDR Driver Available for Pre-Order

The hotly anticipated new TaylorMade SLDR Driver is now available for pre-order through Amazon.com.  The site is indicating that pre-orders will the first to be filled when the driver becomes available to the public on August 9th.

TaylorMade is already calling the SLDR its “longest driver ever” and the unit comes equipped with a sliding 20-gram weight that serves the dual purpose of moving the center of gravity lower and more forward (promoting a higher launch angle) while also allowing for left-to-right adjustments (fade vs. draw).

The sliding weight located on the bottom of the club is touted as being both easier to use than previous adjustments as well as providing a greater ability of shaping shots, with an alteration of up to 30 yards in either direction.

The new TaylorMade SLDR Driver is available in a number of loft angles and the overall loft can be tweaked up to 1.5 degrees in either direction with the use of the 12-position loft-sleeve.

This unprecedented late-summer launch accentuates TaylorMade’s commitment to hold onto it’s position as “The #1 Driver in Golf,” and in all this could be one the most effective game improvement drivers we’ve seen so far.

The TaylorMade SLDR Driver is currently priced at $399.99 with the SLDR TP model coming in at $499.99, and both are available for pre-order through Amazon.com as mentioned earlier.

There’s no doubt this new TaylorMade SLDR Driver will be the talk of tee boxes everywhere over these late summer months, and we certainly can’t wait to get our hands on one!
