Tiger Woods Fired a 65 at Augusta Last Week

Could we see Tiger don the Green Jacket one more time this week? If his practice round last Wednesday is indicative of future performance, the GOAT just may have another Major left in him.

Earlier today Golfweek reported that Woods fired a 65 during a practice round at Augusta last Wednesday…and he started his day with a three-putt from 25 feet!

Tiger was then seen back in action at Augusta on Sunday but this time with only a putter and wedge in hand as he walked the front nine. Needless to say, Tiger knows where to put his focus this week.

Tiger comes into the 2019 Masters ranked 12th in the OWGR and Vegas has him at 14/1 odds this week.

I’ve got to say…I’m liking his chances.

With Rory coming in hot off his win at THE PLAYERS and Dustin Johnson hopefully staying away from the stairs this year, there’s no denying the competition will be stiff. But Tiger had a strong showing at the WGC-Dell Match Play and he’s hungry to prove he can still win a major. 

And it’s obvious that Tiger has been putting in the work. He was the last man standing on the course Sunday night, and if that doesn’t show how much he wants it, nothing does.
