This story caught my eye today.  Apparently, I had no clue about this, the Masters tournament calls on Augusta National member Jeffrey Knox to play in the field if there is an odd number of players after cut day.   They do this so that someone doesn’t play alone.  I mean, how cool is that gig? Imagine…

“Hey Mike, we need you tomorrow. Dust off the sticks, you’re going off at 2:47 with Jason Day.”

Wait, what?  Yes, it’s true.   And he’s played with some big players like Bubba Watson, Larry Mize, and Jason Day to name drop a few.  He doesn’t keep score or get a chance to compete for anything. He just plays golf.    And one year, he unofficially beat Rory.

I got to say, this kind of made my day today.
