TIGER’S CREW: Who Does Tiger Woods Roll With These Days?

Who was the guy that Tiger hugged after we won the Masters, some wonder? Family?  Agent?  And, who does Tiger hang out with nowadays?  Recently I shed some light on Tiger’s daily routine; but where do the important people in his life fit in? So many questions about the personal and private life of arguably the greatest figure in sports have left many people wanting more; now that he’s back.

We already know about mom Tida and children Sam and Charlie, but who is still lurking around in his shortened entourage?  Other than long-time and loyal caddie Joe Lacava, Tiger travels with familiar faces quite often.

Did you know he brings his dogs on most of his trips?  In fact, when Tiger stays in private housing, he’ll bring his personal chef whose only job is (you guessed it) cook for Tiger.  Mark Steinberg, also seen at the 2019 Masters, is Tiger’s agent. Tiger followed Steinberg to Excel Sports Management upon his leave from IMG. Steinberg is a partner of the agency and heads the golf division. His client list includes players such as Justin Rose, Justin Thomas, and Matt Kuchar.

What about swing and fitness coaches?  Rob McNamara is Tiger’s most trusted guy and you can usually see him walking with Tiger at most events, especially practice days. He worked at IMG for five years before joining Tiger and because Tiger has opted to go without a swing coach, McNamara just acts as a second opinion if he notices anything.  Can I have this job?

Then there is girlfriend Erica Herman.  Herman manages Tiger’s restaurant in Jupiter,FL (The Woods Jupiter) and she made her first public appearance with Tiger in 2017 at Liberty National for the Presidents Cup. Herman does in fact lives with Tiger.
