Ok, some speculate this was a drunk tweet by Phil. You be the judge.

Undefeated Champions Tour player Phil Mickelson may have been putting some bourbon in his coffee for wellness. A completely random tweet from lefty last night has people wondering if Phil is getting emotional in his “old” age or if he knows something we don’t know.

I’m joking obviously but it’s always nice to see players who are immensely talented, give a nod to someone who was better than them. Thinking about the battles these two have had over the last 20 years just makes me smile.

Tiger changed the game and how players earn money. Phil probably would have won way majors and championships if he didn’t have to contend with the goat. Phil is known to be a super competitive guy, so this tweet shows how much he really appreciates his greatest competitor and his friend.
