I’m not really surprised. Yes it was a close race between him and JT, but the tall dude has been lights out as of late and that’s whats fresh in everyone’s mind. But, was JT the Player of the Year on paper?

Thomas finished the season playing in more events than DJ. Although they had the same number of wins (3), JT had 3 more Top-10 finishes thanks Johnson (10-7).

I agree with the vote, they definitely got this one right in my opinion.
