Dustin Johnson is the PGA TOUR Player of the Year, Scheffler wins Rookie of the Year
Dustin Johnson has been named PGA Tour Player of the Year, an award voted on by the players. There were many players in the running for the Jack Nicklaus Award, but over the last 2 months it’s hard to argue for anyone other than DJ.
He won the Northern Trust by 1,000, runner-up at the BMW, and won the TOUR Championship and the FedEx Cup. His totals were 3 wins, 7 Top 10’s, and like I said before, a FedEx Cup trophy.
Scottie Scheffler has won PGA TOUR Rookie of the Year – and carded a 59. To start his career he has earned 6 Top 5’s, 7 Top 10’s, 13 Top 25’s, and 12 low-rookie performances. He finished 5th in the FedEx Cup standings, making him an easy choice for the Arnold Palmer Award.
