A criminal charge was filed last week alleging that the theft took place over a 13 year period from 2009 to 2022.

Robert Globensky, a 39-year-old from Augusta, was alleged to have moved an unspecified amount of Masters golf tournament merchandise and also historical memorabilia from the club.

If Globensky carried the merchandise outside of Georgia, which is rumored to be true – this brings in charges across State lines; too.

If he pleads guilty, which defendants in this style of case often do, Globensky will be forced to return the dollar equivalent worth back to Augusta National, unless he can track down the items themselves.
