DP World Tour Player of the Year Signs for LIV Golf

Adrian Meronk is off to LIV Golf, according to a report by Bob Harig.

Meronk is a top player on the DP World Tour – almost catching Rory last week in Dubai and was on most pundits lists for the European Ryder Cup side in Rome.

Meronk had huge success in 2022 and was unlucky not to make the side, he is the reigning player of the year on the DP World Tour and is a great signing for LIV.

It’s strange to report on this news now as if it is groundbreaking, after so many golfers have jumped ship from the PGA Tour. If the merger negotiations are complete by April then everyone is back in the same boat somewhat. Regardless, Meronk is a good signing because he is young and in form, possibly with his best years ahead of him.

Harig writes that Meronk is teeing up in Mayakoba for LIV Golf next week, expecting to join Martin Kaymer’s Cleeks side.
