Anthony Kim took the golf community by storm more than a decade ago after a Sunday at Augusta proved to be one of the most memorable charges by a young up-and-comer.
However, AK was not in the spotlight long.
Eventually, he disappeared, and there were claims that a long-standing injury and an in-place insurance policy were prohibiting him from competing. Someone in Los Angeles ran into him several years back and asked how his golf game was.
“Non-existent,” Kim replied.
Kim has won a single PGA Tour Event, the 2010 Shell Houston Open, but now it appears he’ll be taking his talents to the Tour’s biggest rival.
LIV Golf has apparently been in talks with AK for some time, and although he also entertained a return to the PGA Tour.
It appears AK will be joining LIV.
