Apple TV+ is launching a new series called “Stick,” combining comedy with our favorite game, and some familiar faces to match.

The new series is set to launch on June 4 and will star comedy actor Owen Wilson, who appears to be a caddie in the show, at least in some capacity. Wilson will star alongside Marc Maron, Mariana Treviño, Lilli Kay, Judy Greer, Timothy Olyphant, and Peter Dager.

It also seems that there will be a handful of golfers in the show, as previews and shots of the series feature names like Collin Morikawa and Max Homa, among some others:

With the popularity of shows like Full Swing on Netflix, it is no secret that golf-related content is certainly a fan favorite. However, there have not been too many golf-centered comedy shows out there. Of course, movies like Happy Gilmore, Caddyshack, and others still are classics that golf enthusiasts love to get a laugh from.

Happy Gilmore is getting a sequel that is set to release soon as well, and it also features some of the biggest names in the sport.

It looks like the shooting for the show was done prior to some of the equipment and sponsorship switch-ups that happened early in the season:

Max Homa is no longer with Titleist and FootJoy, and is now with Cobra and Puma Golf.

Appearances by Jim Nantz and Trevor Immelman are also shown in some of the preview shots of the show.

Joey Klender is a reporter covering Equipment, Footwear, and Apparel. A huge golf fan, he calls a certain week in April his favorite of the year. Inspired by the likes of Woods, Palmer, McIlroy, and Koepka, Joey plays over 100 times a year in the South Central Pennsylvania area. When he isn't golfing, he is probably thinking about golfing, but he might be watching other sports, writing, or playing poker.
