Bettinardi has a long-standing tradition of building world-class putters used by names like Matthew Fitzpatrick, Fred Couples, and Matt Kuchar. Now, the brand is expanding its business into irons for the first time after building some of the world’s best putters for 25 years.

There will be two distinct models offered initially by Bettinardi: the MB24 and the CB24. Each is designed to provide feel, control, and forgiveness, while offering specific strengths and differences in look and design.

MB24

The MB24, or Muscleback design, blends Tour-proven aesthetics with forged feel. These are geared toward offering shot-shaping and precision. A thinner top line will not encourage total confidence for players who need additional support from their irons, but the muscleback design helps with weighting and control, adding forgiveness and optimal bounce and compression.

CB24

The CB24, or cavityback design, combines modern engineering with a classic iron look. This iron set is geared toward players who want distance help and forgiveness from their clubs, while also blending a forged feel with innovative and modern technology. Weighted at the perimeter for maximum MOI, the design helps the ball get in the air and maximizes forgiveness.

Three Key Features

Bettinardi packed three key features in both iron models:

One-Piece Co-Forged Solid Body

“Engineered to seamlessly co-forge the interior components within the 1025 Carbon Steel chassis, our One-Piece Forging Technology delivers a solid body iron with exceptional feel that gives the player responsive feedback.”

Tri-Material Construction

Using high-density Tungsten and Military-Grade Ceramic Matrix Composite offers forgiveness, balance, and consistency.

Progressive COG Positioning

“Loft-dependent positioning of the Tungsten and CMC components ensures precise COG placement in each iron. This progressive COG shift generates more launch in the long irons, controlled backspin in the scoring irons, and tighter dispersion while maintaining consistent gapping through the set.”

Price and Availability

Both the MB24 and CB24 irons will be available for pre-order today, March 26. They will start at $1,600 per set, and both will offer 24 shaft and 18 grip options. They are also available in both left and right-handed options.
