BIG MAX Announces New Line of Waterproof Golf Bags

BIG MAX, who already own the push cart market in Europe, has set it’s sights on the U.S. market.

They’ve unveiled five new golf bags that officially became available this month here in the states.

Three of the five bags, called the AQUA line, are built with what they call the “DROP STOP” system that guarantees the bags are 100% waterproof. The fabric of the bags have a waterproof rating of over 10.000mm.

In general, that means the inside of that bag is staying dry unless you find yourself in the midst of some kind of high-wind torrential downpour. Which, if you’re outside on a golf course during that, you’ve got some much bigger issues.

The AQUAs also have sealed seams and some kind of specially designed waterproof zippers.

What I like about what BIG MAX has done with the AQUA line is provided different type of bags. Basically, whatever bag type a golfer prefers, they’ve got one for you. Cart bag, stand-bag, or a combination of the two.

The other line they’ve released is called the DRI LITE.

These bags are the equivalent of what other bag manufacturers would call “waterproof”, but with the AQUAs in the market now, BIG MAX prefers to call these “water resistant.”

The DRI LITEs come in two styles, a cart bag with nine pockets, including a fully waterproof valuables pocket. It also has two umbrellas positions, a towel holder, and a spot for your golf glove. And it weighs in at just under five pounds.

The other style is a traditional stand-bag that weighs less than four and a half pounds and has seven pockets.
