Bridgestone Releases Tour B XS Tiger Woods Golf Ball
The “Tiger Effect” is becoming bigger than we ever imagined. Not only is it bringing crowds in droves to the events he’s participating in, it’s now starting sweep the golf equipment world.
As many of you probably know, Tiger has been sponsored by Bridgestone Golf for several years and uses their balls on the course. Well, since he’s back and competing at a high level again, Bridgestone decided to create a special edition golf ball just for Tiger fans. It will be the Tour B XS ball that Bridgestone usually offers but with some Tiger-specific features.
The first and most obvious Tiger detail you will notice about the balls is the packaging. When you visit your local golf store, you’ll see Tiger’s bright and smiling face holding the ball while wearing his lucky Sunday uniform, including the red polo and the black TW hat. It will also have Tiger’s seal of approval on it, as the package has his replica signature on the front.

The ball itself will also be identical to what Tiger uses on the course. It is your typical Tour B XS ball but it also has “TIGER” imprinted on it, just like the balls Woods has used throughout his entire career.
Both Tiger and Bridgestone worked on the design of the ball, along with the TGR Foundation, which will receive part of the proceeds. “We worked closely with the Bridgestone team to come up with a concept that benefits both golfers and my TGR Foundation, which is very important to me,” Woods said in Bridgestone’s release.
The Tiger edition Tour B XS balls are set to hit the market on April 1st and cost just shy of $50 a dozen. If you buy them, you probably won’t play as well as Tiger is right now, but at least you’ll have the same swagger for your next 18 holes.
