Bryson DeCheambeau Says Phil Mickelson Has “Gone Dark” On Him
Bryson DeChambeau was asked if he has had any communication with Phil Mickelson since Mickelson spoke out about the PGA TOUR and comments about the Saudi golf league, the LIV Golf Invitational Series.
Mickelson is not in the field this week at the Masters for the first time in 28 years and has not played on the PGA TOUR since his comments went public.

DeChambeau said:
“I’ve tried to reach out (to Mickelson), but he’s gone dark. There’s no contact.”
It’s a shame that Mickelson hasn’t answered DeChambeau. It seemed like they were good friends through Capital One’s The Match and other events they have played together. Hopefully, Phil is getting the time off that he needs, and he will come back better than ever soon…or will we see him next as a part of the LIV Golf Invitational Series? I guess we will have to wait and see.
In other Bryson news, he told the media that his doctors urged him not to play these past few weeks and this week, but since it’s a major and he needed to get ready for it, he did it anyway.

This is kind of surprising. Bryson always does everything by the book, so him not listening to his doctors surprises me. He must feel good enough to play if he is out there.
Will Bryson make the cut this week?
