Charles Barkley Agrees to Meet with LIV, Eyeing Up Future Media Role
Ball star turned golf broadcaster Charles Barkley is in talks with LIV Golf regarding a future media role.
While appearing on The Next Round podcast, Barkley admitted that Greg Norman had approached him recently and that he will 100% be meeting with him to see exactly what the potential offer entails, whether it is commentary or perhaps a bigger media position within the set-up.
“The answer to your question is 100% yes. I’m gonna meet with LIV.” On today’s show, Charles Barkley joined us in studio and confirmed that he will be speaking to Greg Norman about a role with LIV Golf. @NoLayingUp @RiggsBarstool @barstoolsports @GOLF_com @GolfDigest @GolfChannel pic.twitter.com/AOMQJRoKZB

Barkley commentated during ‘The Match’ with Phil Mickelson and Tiger, and in subsequent matches, he has also been behind the microphone, including the one with Mickelson, Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, and Bryson DeChambeau.
He played with Phil and had a much-improved swing, and it is starting to feel like The Match exhibitions are being replayed for us on a larger scale with the LIV Series, huge sums of money, sporting heroes in the commentary booth, and a wider appeal to sports fans in general, rather than just golf aficionados.

The ’Golf, But Louder’ LIV slogan is being backed up with names like Barkley circulating; perhaps the player roster is almost complete, so they are looking to strengthen other areas of the rival series?
