COBRA Debuts DS-ADAPT Fairways and Hybrids
Last week, COBRA officially debuted its 2025 offering: the DS-ADAPT lineup. While drivers always steal the majority of the attention, the DS-ADAPT fairway woods and hybrids deserve equal attention.

Like the DS-ADAPT driver, the fairway metals and hybrids both feature the same innovative technologies as the drivers, including FUTUREFIT33, ADAPTIVE WEIGHTING with updated PWR-BRIDGE technology, H.O.T. FACE, and CARBON FIBER CROWN.
Breaking down the new DS-ADAPT fairway metals, there will also be three models—LS, X, and MAX—to fit the full spectrum of golfers.

DS-ADAPT LS Titanium Fairway
The new LS ($429) is designed to provide the lowest spin and fastest speed in the DS-ADAPT lineup. A titanium body is paired with a lightweight carbon fiber crown for significant weight savings to allow for 60g of tungsten (34g of internal tungsten and two 13g external weights) positioned low and forward to yield lower spin and the fastest ball speed of the three models.
A larger and thinner titanium face insert is optimized with variable thickness H.O.T. Face Technology for improved launch and faster ball speeds on off-center strikes. The LS is built with the deepest face of the three new DS-ADAPT fairways and features FUTUREFIT33 Technology, providing 33 loft and lie combinations for maximized ball flight tuning for the perfect fit. Each fairway features SMARTPAD technology to keep the clubface square at the address regardless of loft or lie settings. The LS is available in 3W (14.5°), 3HF (16°), and 5W (17.5°) models and comes standard with True Temper Denali Black 60 shaft (X, S) and Lamkin Crossline grip.

DS-ADAPT X Fairway
The DS-ADAPT X ($329) combines fast speed and forgiveness of the three new fairway models. The X model utilizes a mid to forward-positioned PWR-BRIDGE to reduce spin while also allowing for enhanced playability and high launch. The shape of the X model is slightly shallower than the LS to promote higher launch and slightly more spin and is available in 3W (15.0°), 3HF (16.5°), 5W (18°), and 7W (21°), with the choice of True Temper Denali Red 50 (A flex) or True Temper Denali Blue 60 shafts (R and S flex).

DS-ADAPT MAX Fairway
The MAX ($329) is designed to provide the most forgiveness with draw bias in the DS-ADAPT fairway line and features two discrete moveable weights. Position the heavier weight in the back for added stability or in the heel for added slice correction. The MAX fairway is designed with the shallowest face of the three models to promote higher launch and increased forgiveness and is available in 3W (15.5°), 5W (18.5°), 7W (21.5°), and 9W (24.5°) with True Temper Denali Red 50 shaft (S, R, A).
The DS-ADAPT MAX is also available in a women’s model in 3W (18.5°), 5W (21.5°), and 7W (24.5°) with UST Helium Nanocore (43g) shaft in Ladies flex and an undersize Lamkin Crossline grip (45g).

DS-ADAPT Hybrids ($299 MSRP each) fill out COBRA’s collection of new metalwood offerings and feature ADAPTIVE WEIGHTING for low and forward CG placement, H.O.T. FACE Technology for added speed and launch, a slightly larger footprint than previous-gen DARKSPEED for increased forgiveness and consistency, and new FUTUREFIT33 Technology for industry-leading fitting options. The DS-ADAPT Hybrids are available in 2H (17°), 3H (19°), 4H (21°), 5H (24°), and 6H (28°) with KBS PG HYBRID graphite shafts in 85 (S), 75 (R), and 65 (A) flexes. A DS-ADAPT Women’s Hybrid is also available in 4H (21°), 5H (24°), 6H (28°), and 7H (31°) with KBS PG Hybrid 55 (L) flex graphite shafts.
All COBRA DS-ADAPT products will be available for fitting and pre-sale right now, and will be available at retail and online on January 10, 2025. For more information, visit www.cobragolf.com.
