Cold Weather On Sunday At THE PLAYERS Causes Joel Dahmen To Do Something Unusual

It is cold at THE PLAYERS Championship today, by Florida’s standards. It was in the 30’s when play resumed Sunday morning and players were doing everything they could to stay warm. Winter hats, mittens, jackets and hand warmers were in full force early on.

Some players like Harold Varner III had to stop by the pro shop in order to buy more layers, but Joel Dahmen did something a little unusual in order to stay warm.

Instead of putting thermal leggings on underneath his golf pants he put on thick sweatpants in order to stay warm. Honestly, this is genius.

Whatever you have to do in order to stay warm out there when it’s in the 30’s and the wind is blowing.

The cold weather today adds onto the already insane weather that TPC Sawgrass has seen since Wednesday.

Between the rain, wind, and cold, I think it is safe to say that the players are hoping for a nice warm day on their Monday final round finish tomorrow.
